Water Filler Cap With Hose Fitting (40mm version used on fiamma – Roller Team and others hozelock type) FAP

Description

This unit is unique to others. It has a tapered guide at one end which avoids issues when feeding the tube into restricted filler hoes like the one fitted to many Roller Team water units. This taper stops the hose from catching. It now has additional strength around the main body.

Fiamma (FAP) Compatible Water Filler for 40mm Dia opening (please check the opening size as some early models were 32mm), allows clip on hose to be used to fill the water. It also has two water release holes in the top to warn of over filling and allow for over fill to be released and the air to release.
Also fits Benimar, Roller Team, Hymer, Mobilvetta, Challenger, Foster and many more.

The food safe water hose can be fitted if required. On some versions of the fiamma unit the neck narrows and adding the hose allows faster filling.

Please use the drawing to validate that the filler neck of your water storage is correct for this unit.

Fitting instructions:

1. Push your hose filler cap onto the filler neck (feeding the hose if fitted) and turn slightly, about an hour on a clock face. (There is no need to turn fully)
2. Click your ‘hoselock’ type fitting to the cap
3. Turn on water at about 50% pressure
4. Monitor your filling either from in your caravan or motor home using your display or by visual gauge if the tank is able to be seen.

This cap in most cases will still allow the flap to shut, however it is always recommended that this is not done and the locking filler cap is replaced.

Attention. Do not use for anything other than filling and do not leave unattended.
